I was motorcycle touring through the countryside when I stopped at a small town to get gas. As I was filling up, an old man came up to me and started chatting. He told me about how he used to love to go motorcycle touring himself, but he’s unable to now due to his age. He then asked me about my journey and where I was headed. I told him I was just riding around exploring and taking in the sights. He told me that I was in for a real treat because the countryside is full of beautiful scenery. He then pointed out a few places I should check out while I was in town.Before I left, the old man told me to be sure to come back and visit him. He said he always enjoys seeing new faces, and he’s always happy to chat. I thanked him for his advice and went on my way.I ended up having a great time exploring the town and taking in the scenery. The old man was right, it was absolutely beautiful. I even stopped back to visit him before I left town. We had a nice chat and he gave me some more tips on where to go and what to see. I’m definitely planning on returning to that town again soon so I can explore more of the countryside.
